British Transport Police have stepped up patrols at both Beverley and Cottingham railway stations following an increase in anti-social behaviour, including attacks on staff and attempts to obstruct trains. Planning councillors are being asked to approve proposals for a massive solar farm to cover five fields off Main Road in Routh.
