Vaccination sites have been launched in the East Riding, including Beverley, for children aged five to 11 to receive Covid jabs. Local mental health charity Hull and East Yorkshire Mind has announced the relaunch of its “Tea & Talk” campaign for next month’s Mental Health Awareness Week, which runs from May 9th to the 15th. More than 10 years after a plaque was unveiled honouring a Beverley inventor, the town's Civic Society has discovered it was placed on the wrong building. The plaque, meant to be marking the home of William Crosskill, who was born in Beverley in 1799, was placed on the outside of Beverley Register Office, Walkergate House.
