Nostell Miners 0-5 North Ferriby

North Ferriby FC ended their 2021-22 regular season with a 5-0 victory over Nostell Miners Welfare. Vaccination sites have been launched in the East Riding, including Beverley, for children aged five to 11 to receive Covid jabs. The local NHS Clinical Commissioning Group has confirmed that providing they have no underlying health conditions, they will be offered two child doses of the Pfizer vaccine, with 12 weeks between doses. The Cherry Tree Community Centre, based in Cherry Tree Lane, Beverley, has been named as Beverley Building Society’s Charity of the Year. Local mental health charity Hull and East Yorkshire Mind has announced the relaunch of its “Tea & Talk” campaign for next month’s Mental Health Awareness Week, which runs from May 9th to the 15th. Beverley could be branching out by making formal twinning arrangements  with a third town in Europe. More than 10 years after a plaque was unveiled honouring a Beverley inventor, the town's Civic Society has discovered it was placed on the wrong building. The plaque, meant to be marking the home of William Crosskill, who was born in Beverley in 1799, was placed on the outside of Beverley Register Office, Walkergate House.
