East Riding Council is making progress to improve its children’s safeguarding and support services which were rated as inadequate three years ago. Police are appealing for witnesses to two fatal road traffic accidents in East Yorkshire last Friday and Saturday. A 17 year old man named as Jack Stabler died following a two-vehicle collision on the B1249 near to Driffield on Saturday. Another 18 year-old man remains in a critical condition at Hull Royal Infirmary.
