East Riding Council is making progress to improve its children’s safeguarding and support services which were rated as inadequate three years ago. The number of people with coronavirus in hospital continues to cause concern with more fatalities being reported. Hospital officials told us that there are still 80 patients being treated in Castle Hill Hospital and Hull Royal Infirmary, with three in intensive care. The gifts are being provided by the local Parish Council. Chair Kerri Harold told us she hoped the children would treasure them for many years to come. The council is holding its Platinum celebrations with a weekend of family fun from 1st July. More from Woodmansey Parish Council here
