North Ferriby Fc continued their Pre-Season campaign with a 2-1 defeat against Bridlington Town, in what was a fiercely contested game of football. LATEST annual Environmental Performance Assessments by the Environment Agency shows the performance of England's nine water and sewerage companies has declined. In Yorkshire, Yorkshire Water received a 2 star rating, a decline from its 4 star rating last year, which it had achieved for the first time since 2014. It saw five serious pollution incidents during 2021, an increase of two from the previous year. Beverley AC’s hugely popular race, the Specsavers Walkington 10 k and fun run took place on the evening of Friday 8th July and was deemed a huge success.
