North Ferriby bounced back from Tuesday night's defeat at Silsden with a 2-1 victory over Hemsworth. Substitute Danny Earl coming off the bench to score the winner in the 83rd minute. BEVERLEY RUFC celebrate 50 years of playing at their home ground, Beaver Park, today with the first home match of a new season. The first team will wear a new kit to mark the anniversary when they take on opponents Dinnington, with a 3pm kick-off. BEVERLEY FM understands East Riding Council is currently in talks to make places available for people to go if they struggle to afford their energy bills this winter. The council has not yet announced any definite plans but it is understood officials are drawing up measures behind the scenes.
