A MAJOR road route in and out of Beverley has been named as the worst for drivers ignoring speed limits. According to Safer Roads Humber more than 4,000 drivers every day ignore the 40mph speed limit on the dual carriageway stretch of the A164 between the Waitrose roundabout and Castle Hill.  Safer Roads Humber has released statistics collected by its speed cameras between 2019 and 2021 and say they show that, on average, 4,320 drivers each day fail to stick Read more

THE AVERAGE number of deaths across the area is still rising, even after the Coronavirus pandemic has receded, East Riding Council’s Health and Wellbeing Board was told.
