East Riding Public Health officials are asking local residents to be aware of the symptoms of Monkeypox as infection rates continue to rise across the country. They told Beverley FM that although the disease is still rare, the public should be vigilant. It presents with a rash, predominantly on the face, which then spreads and can be mistaken for Chicken Pox as it goes through similar stages before finally forming scabs. Applications are easy to complete and can now be completed online by visiting www.reytas.co.uk  They added that East Yorkshire continues to establish itself as one of the top choices for visitors from outside our region.
