North Ferriby FC start a run of four consecutive home games as they take on Knaresborough Town at the Dransfield stadium this weekend.

Chris Bolder’s side will look to keep their 100%-win rate at home going. The Villagers come into the game off the back of a disappointing loss to Albion Sports during the week. The Villagers had the opportunity to pull six points clear of Emley in second place. Two second-half goals from the hosts proved the difference in the end.

Paul Robson, North Ferriby Fc assistant manager, summed up his thoughts after the game, it was another game that we’ve been below par. We started ok in the game, we put 15 crosses in the box by half time and we didn’t connect on them, it was disappointing as it was a big opportunity for us to go six points clear at the top, but we ourselves down.

Knaresborough currently sit in 16th place. In their eleven games this season they have picked up thirteen points. Last time out they defeated title challengers Barton, with a final score of 2-1. Danny Edwards is Knaresborough’s top goal scorer, with seven goals in total.

Paul Robson summed up his thoughts ahead of the game, “we’re looking forward to getting back on our pitch. It’ll be nice to get back into our groove and play how we want to play. Some of the away games we’ve completely come away from it, we haven’t been doing the simple things right”.
