North Ferriby welcome Albion Sports to Dransfield Stadium this weekend, looking to keep their tight grip on top position.

The Villagers currently sit eleven points clear of second place Emley. Emley have played two games less than Chris Bolder’s side. The Villagers defeated Emley last weekend. Bolder’s side came out 3-1 winners. In a game they showed great defensive resilience, goals from captain Niall Tilsley, Oli Donald and a stoppage-time goal from Danny Clarke proved the difference.

The Villagers face an Albion side who sit in 14th place. Last time out, Albion were defeated 4-0 at Penistone Church. When the two sides last met in October, it was the West Yorkshire outfit who came out on top, defeating Bolder’s side 2-0.

When asked to sum up his overall thoughts and to sum up squad changes, Bolder said, “Another tough game in prospect for us on Saturday, especially with the result at their place earlier on in the season shows they are a very capable team. We are coming into it in good form, having won our last five league games, so we are full of confidence at the minute, especially after a fantastic team performance last Saturday.”

“We will have to check later in the week with regards to the squad, we lost Joel and Josh Dennett through injury last week and we also saw Robbie Start and Jamie Forrester depart us. We may have an addition to the squad in time for Saturday which is a boost”.
