The Blue and Golds will return to action this Saturday, fresh from a very welcome fortnight’s break due to Easter.
Clock Face Miners are the visitors to the Potting Shed for a 2.30 pm kick-off. The Merseysiders lie fourth in NCL 2 with 4 wins from 6 starts and will certainly present a fair challenge to the hosts.
However, Beverley are heartened by the return of almost an entire squad, recovering from injuries and Covid cases. They remain confident of climbing away from the foot of the table.
Sam French has been encouraged by the spirit of togetherness shown by a very youthful squad against Heworth last time out. With more senior players returning, team selection has been a tricky one.
