High-tech ‘bi-mode’ trains to arrive in Hull for the first time with more than 150 extra seats

Special bi-mode trains that can work on diesel or electric power are to arrive in Hull for the first time. The TransPennine Express Nova 1 trains also have more than 150 extra seats compared to current trains travelling on the route. From December, customers in Hull can use the Nova 1 fleet - 19 five-carriage trains with 161 extra seats. New Brough roundabout opens following £4.7m investment

A new £4.7m roundabout has opened to traffic in Brough designed to improve the congested junction for years to come.
