More than 10 years after a plaque was unveiled honouring a Beverley inventor, the town's Civic Society has discovered it was placed on the wrong building. Fire officers were called out at the weekend to help with the rescue of an elderly lady who had broken her ankle in a fall in a wooded area on Newbald Road, Beverley.
