Local mental health charity Hull and East Yorkshire Mind has announced the relaunch of its “Tea & Talk” campaign for next month’s Mental Health Awareness Week, which runs from May 9th to the 15th. Beverley could be branching out by making formal twinning arrangements  with a third town in Europe. More than 10 years after a plaque was unveiled honouring a Beverley inventor, the town's Civic Society has discovered it was placed on the wrong building. Fire officers were called out at the weekend to help with the rescue of an elderly lady who had broken her ankle in a fall in a wooded area on Newbald Road, Beverley. She was found to be suffering mild hypothermia by the time she was found in the early afternoon on Saturday.
