BAXTER REJOINS HULL CITY

Hull City are delighted to announce the return of goalkeeper Nathan Baxter on a season-long loan from Chelsea, with an option to buy included as part of the deal. Hull KR part ways with Tony Smith

The club have this morning stood Tony Smith down as Head Coach for the remainder of the season. Danny McGuire will take charge of all first-team matters until Willie Peters arrives in the Autumn. Danny will be assistant coach to Willie, having recently signed a three-year contract extension to stay with the Robins until the end of 2025. FR: Selby Town 1-0 North Ferriby

North Ferriby FC began their pre-season campaign with a 1-0 defeat at Selby. The Villagers played two different elevens in each half, as Chris Bolder ran rule of his side.
