Commuted Sums help Riverview Bowling Club

Riverview Bowling Club has completed improvements to the club, using an award of £53,137 from East Riding of Yorkshire Council as part of Commuted Sums. Riverview Bowling Club contributed £5,904 towards the £59,041 project. Muslim Hikers visit Yorkshire Wolds

The ‘Muslim Hikers’ group, liaising with the East Riding of Yorkshire Council, walked part of the Yorkshire Wolds Way National Trail on Saturday 14 September. The trail, which runs from Hessle to Filey, encompasses picturesque landscapes, heritage sights and villages across the East and North Ridings. 120 walkers from the Muslim Hikers group walked 10.5 miles of the trail, from Huggate church, near Driffield, through to Wharram Percy in North Yorkshire.
