POLICE have issued a CCTV image of a man they want to question after reports of a till theft from business premises in Butcher Row, Beverley, earlier this week. A spokesperson told Beverley FM: “It is reported that a man entered a store on Butcher Row around 7pm on Tuesday and is said to have removed a till from the property.”

As yet the premises have not been named but the spokesperson continued: “The man is then believed to have left in the direction of Wilbert Lane and Mill Lane, where the till was recovered.” And police issued this appeal: “If you are the man in this image, or know who he is, you can contact us on our non-emergency number 101, quoting log 467 of June 21. 

FOLLOWING their successful showing at York Fashion Week, East Riding College’s fashion students’ creations took to the catwalk again in a triumphant end of year show at the college’s Beverley campus. Articles on show included a striking collection by the second year degree students, who took their inspiration from 17^th century cavaliers, creating garments with traditional tailoring and flamboyant flourishes, combined with the complexity of modern tailoring techniques. 

Course leader Beth Jacob said: “I am so impressed with the work our students have produced this year. We decided to host the event in Beverley this year in order to showcase our students’ talents in the wider region.”

HUMBER Teaching NHS Foundation Trust’s chief executive Michele Moran completed an 84-mile virtual cycle route yesterday, raising over £6,000 for the Trust’s charity, Health Stars. Michele was joined by staff from across the Trust, including nurses, pharmacists, estates, administration and patient experience colleagues.
