BEVERLEY councillors have re-elected Cllr Linda Johnson as Mayor for a second term, with Cllr Tom Astell continuing as Deputy Mayor. The decision was ratified at last night’s annual meeting of the Town Council, when it was felt pandemic restrictions had severely restricted the normal role of the town’s Mayor during her year in office. Her husband, Cllr Graham Johnson, will continue as Mayor’s Consort.
