A mural has been unveiled at Appleton Court extra care apartments in Hessle , by Chairman of East Riding of Yorkshire Council, Councillor Linda Bayram.
The mural has been created by pupils at St Anne’s special school, with the help of local ceramic artist Nuala Taylor.
Nuala met with the pupils to create and design an exotic animal themed piece which was reflective of their curriculum, bringing together a collection of 60 tiles over a five week period. Once the students had completed their paintings , Nuala glazed and fired the tiles for display.
