The newly titled Impact Performance National Conference League has released its 2023 fixtures ahead of a March start. The RFL’s flagship community competition will comprise 46 teams next season across the four divisions. Premier, 1 and 2 comprising each of 12 teams and 10 teams in division 3.

The NCL management decided to run with 10 teams after numbers were reduced following the withdrawal of Batley Boys and Dudley Hill and the swallowing up of Hunslet Warriors in a merger with Hunslet Parkside to form a single Hunslet club in the top division.

However, there will be a new name in division 3 in the shape of Ellenborough Rangers. The Maryport outfit got the nod after being a force for a number of years in the Cumberland League.

Beverley open up their campaign with a home fixture against Bentley. They will be renewing acquaintances with the South Yorkshire outfit on March 11th. The 2 sides of course clashed a few times in their Yorkshire League days. The fixture list is an interesting and varied one with Ellenborough, Millom, Seaton and Hensingham making up 4 trips to Cumbria.

The Blue and Golds have been in light training since November but newly installed Head Coach Stuart Fielden will introduce the serious stuff in the first session back after the Christmas break.
