The Blue and Golds will embark upon the second leg of this tough 3-match schedule in the space of 8 days this Wednesday evening. They will travel across to Warrington to take on Crosfields for a 7 pm kick-off at Hood Lane North, Great Sankey.
It is a tough ask for an amateur club whose players have had to get an afternoon off work in order to board the team bus which will depart from the Potting Shed at 3.15 pm.
Joe Morley has been encouraged by the effort and commitment which was shown by the squad in a creditable 20-10 defeat at Barrow last weekend but is asking for them to do it all again 4 days later. Sitting in second place in division 2, Crosfields are odds on to seal the second automatic promotion slot to NCL division 1.
